Why are GA planes with advanced avionics rented at a higher price?

So obviously, if you own a flight school, you’re gonna rent out the nicer equipment at a higher price. My question here is basically, do aircraft with advanced avionics such as G1000 or G500tx genuinely have higher operating costs that justify a higher rental
